Audit and Licensing Of Importers, Wholesalers and Exporters
Under the Health Products Act, Medicines Act, Poisons Act and Misuse of Drugs Act, local importers, wholesalers and exporters are required to hold the relevant licences as listed below, for the importation and wholesale dealing of products regulated under these four Acts. Importers and wholesalers are expected to comply with the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, which include the HSA's Good Distribution Practice standard.

Target Processing Timelines
Issuance of new Importer's Licence, Wholesaler's Licence and Form A Poisons Licence – 10 working days from date of audit close out (excluding any stop-clock time incurred by the applicant).
