July 2007 | Transfer of Centre for Radiation Protection (CRP) to the National Environment Agency (NEA), a statutory board under the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources (MEWR) |
| August 2008 | Restructuring of the professional groups, namely Health Products Regulation Group, Blood Services Group and Applied Sciences Group, to function as consolidated entities comprising Divisions and Branches/Laboratories. The Health Services Group has been renamed the Blood Services Group. |
