Position: Senior Regulatory Specialist

Division: Complementary Health Products Division
Responsibilities :
- To provide strategic support and professional inputs in proposal, implementation and review of policies pertaining to regulation of herbal medicines/supplements.
- To provide strategic support and professional inputs on international activities, liaison with overseas benchmark agencies and participate in regional harmonisation efforts on herbal medicines/supplements.
- To undertake the evaluation of herbal medicines/supplements in areas such as safety and quality.
- To build internal capabilities in technical knowledge relating to herbal medicines.
- To build rapport and foster good partnership with stakeholders.
- To manage enquiries from both external and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree in Herbal Science, Nutrition & Herbal Medicine or related field with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge and experience in the area of complementary health products, especially herbal medicines/supplements would be an advantage.
- Possess project management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
