Position: Service Registrars
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and management of the clinical transfusion service.
- Provide consultations in Blood Banking, Immunohaematology and other aspects of clinical and laboratory transfusion medicine.
- Ensuring good transfusion practices, quality and safety of the national blood supply.
- Coaching of medical officers and basic trainees.
- Research and project work.
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognised Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent), with postgraduate medical qualifications (MRCP or MRCPath Part 1 or equivalent) and registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Experience working in a clinical haematology unit is preferred.
- Able to interact effectively with clinical colleagues, blood donors, general public and business partners.
