Application For Certificate For Exporter Of Medicinal Product (Statement Of Licensing Status)
Regulatory Guidelines and Standards
The Statement of Licensing Status of Pharmaceutical Products (SLS) attests that a licence has been issued for a specified western medicinal product for use in Singapore. It is usually intended to facilitate the screening and preparation of product information by importing agents when considering bids made in response to an international tender. The SLS provides details pertaining to the medicinal product such as name, dosage form, composition and product licence number. The SLS will be transmitted to the requesting party through the applicant. It is issued in the format as recommended by the WHO and will normally expire 24 months from the date of issuance. Upon expiry, a new application must be submitted. The SLS cannot be renewed or re-issued. An applicant requesting for an SLS should be the product licence holder of the medicinal product. The company should authorize a responsible person (e.g. Managing Director, QA/QC Manager, Production Manager) to apply for the certificate. Related Links |
