The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) is suspending the sales of oral preparations containing a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, nimesulide, in Singapore with immediate effect.
This suspension is being taken as a precautionary measure in view of new information suggesting an increased risk of liver toxicity compared to other drugs in the same class. HSA will be conducting a more in-depth risk-benefit assessment of the drug following this suspension... More details.
