Before you give blood, you will be asked a number of personal questions regarding your health, travel and sexual history. This is necessary to ensure that you are well enough to donate, and also to confirm that you do not have any infectious diseases that may harm recipients of your blood donation.
We rely on you to tell us that it is safe to use your blood for transfusion, and that the information given during your donation interview is true.
Any information you give us is strictly confidential.
