The SMDR can be viewed by healthcare organisations, professionals and the general public.
It can be used to facilitate tracing of medical devices in event of any adverse incidents or recalls.
The listing of medical devices in the SMDR should not be construed as an explicit endorsement or approval of the products by HSA.
