Additional warning on the formation of knots in Bard multi-length ureteral stents

Bard Singapore would like to inform healthcare professionals of an additional Warning/Precaution regarding possible formation of knots in multi-length ureteral stents. This may result in injury to the ureter during removal and/or the need for additional surgical intervention. Healthcare professionals are advised to consider the presence of a knot if significant resistance is encountered during attempts at removal. Please refer to the letter for details.
