Staten Serum Institut (SSI) would like to update healthcare professionals on the increased frequency of lymphadenitis and suppurative lymphadenitis associated with the use of BCG Vaccine SSI. Healthcare professionals are advised that correct dose and administration technique may minimise the number and severity of lymphadenitis cases. Please refer to the letter for further details as well as the guideline for the intradermal administration of BCG Vaccine SSI.
