Roche Diagnostics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd would like to inform healthcare professionals of the modification to the labelling of the Accu-Chek® Compact Plus and Accu-Chek® Mobile Blood Glucose Monitoring Systems, due to the possibility of erroneously low blood glucose readings in patients undergoing ceftriaxone therapy. Healthcare professionals are requested to advise their patients who are on ceftriaxone therapy not to use the affected systems throughout the duration of the therapy and for 2 full days after the last treatment. Patients are advised to use an alternative system. Please refer to the letter for more details.
