Change in shelf-life, storage conditions and manufacturing site for Tegretol 200 Tablet 200mg (SIN00352P)

Novartis would like to inform healthcare professionals of the change in the shelf life, storage conditions and manufacturing site for Tegretol 200 tablet 200mg. Due to these changes, healthcare professionals are advised not to mix the Tegretol tablets from the two different manufacturing sites when dispensing the medication. Healthcare professionals should inform patients of the changes and to advise them to complete the consumption of their old Tegretol tablets, manufactured by “Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd”, before starting on the new Tegretol tablets manufactured by “Novartis Farma SPA”.
