Johnson and Johnson Medical would like to inform healthcare professionals of the potential risks to major vascular structures adjacent to the diaphragm related to the improper use of ETHICON SECURESTRAP™ Fixation Device. As part of ongoing monitoring of product performance, a small number of incidences of misuse have been reported related to the device. As a precautionary measure, Johnson and Johnson is reminding healthcare professionals that ETHICON SECURESTRAP™ Fixation Device must be used in accordance with the Instructions for Use.
