A Dear Healthcare Professional Letter has been issued by Abbott Medical (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. to inform healthcare professionals of the global retirement and discontinuation of the Trifecta™ family of bioprosthetic heart valves due to the potential risk of early Structural Valve Deterioration (SVD). Patient management considerations previously provided in the March 2023 communication remain in effect and are appended with this communication. Please refer to the letter for details.
