Healthpoints and Yuu Points
16 June 2026
A concise summary of the main points regarding this article.
Appreciating Your Every Donation
Every donation saves up to three lives, giving patients access to blood when they need it most. Recognising and appreciating donors for their invaluable contributions nurtures a culture of giving and ensures the sustainability of Singapore's blood supply.
Starting 27 June 2026, in partnership with the Health Promotion Board (HPB) and People's Association (PA), eligible donors will receive tokens of appreciation through the Healthy 365 and yuu apps. The tie-up with PA is an initiative in celebration of the National Blood Programme's 80th Anniversary, running from 27 June to 31 December 2026.
For every successful donation, 200 Healthpoints will be issued via the Healthy 365 app. Donors at PA-organised blood drives will also receive 80 yuu Points through the yuu App.
You are not only saving lives but also helping the less privileged families in our community when you donate at PA-organised blood drives and group donations. For every yuu Point received, PA's sponsor, POSB, will match it with a donation to PA's PAssion CARES initiative, which provides groceries and essentials for less privileged families.
1. Why was the Healthpoints initiative for blood donors introduced?
The Healthpoints initiative is a token of appreciation for individuals who maintain the health status required to be eligible to safely donate blood, consistent with the World Health Organization's (WHO) definition of voluntary non-remunerated blood donation, which permits small tokens of appreciation, refreshments, and reimbursement of reasonable travel costs.
2. What do I need to do to receive Healthpoints?
To receive Healthpoints, donors must be registered Healthy 365 users with the app installed prior to donation. Upon successful donation, Healthpoints will be automatically issued to your account within 5 days.
3. What do I need to do to receive yuu Points?
To receive yuu points, donors must successfully donate at People's Association organised blood drives. They must also be PAssion members with the yuu App registered and installed prior to donation. Points will be automatically issued within 6 weeks of your donation and a notification will be sent upon successful issuance.
4. Why do I need to be a PAssion member with the yuu App to receive yuu Points?
The yuu Points are provided as a token of appreciation to PAssion Members who have successfully donated blood, through PA’s collaboration with yuu Rewards Club. Hence, blood donors are required to have both a valid PAssion Membership and yuu Rewards Club account in order for the points to be issued successfully.
