A Dear Healthcare Professional Letter has been issued by Exactech Pte Ltd to inform healthcare professionals of a labelling issue with Exactech Equinoxe Platform Fracture Stem. The affected devices are part of the Exactech Equinoxe Platform Shoulder System. The implants are standard length fracture stems, but the non-English translations on the outer label include the word “long”. There is no mistake in English version. Healthcare professionals are advised to refer to English label only for identification purpose. Please refer to the letter for details.
Only abstracts of the Dear Healthcare Professional Letters (DHCPL) are provided on this website. Details of these letters can be found in the MOH Alert System, which is accessible via the Health Professionals Portal (HPP), a one-stop portal for all healthcare professionals in Singapore.
