Package Redesign of DePuy S-ROM Noiles Rotating Hinge Femur with Pin

Johnson & Johnson Pte Ltd (‘J&J')  would like to inform healthcare professionals of a package redesign of the DePuy S-ROM Noiles Rotating Hinge Femur with Pin. The package redesign was initiated as the potential for holes to develop in the inner and outer sterile pouches of this device had been identified. J&J has advised healthcare professionals that the affected devices may be used under specific conditions until the packaging has been redesigned and the affected devices replaced. This includes inspection of the affected device packaging for breaches prior to implantation. Devices with intact packaging may still be used as intended. Healthcare professionals are advised to refer to the letter for details.
