Medtronic International Limited would like to inform healthcare professionals of a Field Safety Corrective Actions for all lots of Medtronic Paradigm infusion sets. Medtronic Diabetes has become aware of a potential safety issue that can occur if insulin or other fluids come in contact with the inside of the connector on the Medtronic Paradigm infusion sets. As a precautionary measure, Medtronic Diabetes has initiated this Field Safety Corrective Actions to provide information on how to prevent this from occurring. The Medtronic Paradigm infusion sets are designed for use with Medtronic Paradigm family infusion pumps. Please refer to the FSCA for additional details.
