Premature battery depletion with Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator

St Jude Medical would like to inform healthcare professionals of a voluntary recall of Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Defibrillator due to risk of premature battery depletion. Affected models are manufactured before May 23, 2015 and include Fortify™, Fortify Assura™, Quadra Assura™, Quadra Assura MP™, Unify™, Unify Assura™ and Unify Quadra™. Please refer to the letter for details.
