Novo Nordisk Pharma (S) Pte Ltd in consultation with the Health Sciences Authority is conducting a voluntary recall of NovoSeven® for Injection 2.4mg vial for the following batches YU61075, YU61478 and YU61368. The voluntary recall of NovoSeven® for Injection 2.4mg vial is a precautionary measure as some of the NovoSeven® for Injection 2.4mg vials from 3 batches were found to be cracked and therefore potentially exposing the product to microbial or other contamination. The batches were first distributed to local pharmacies and hospitals since 1 Feb 2011. Healthcare professionals are advised to quarantine existing stock from the 3 batches and contact any patients who have been supplied with these batches and ask them to return the product as soon as possible.
