A Dear Healthcare Professional Letter has been issued by Medtronic International Limited to inform healthcare professionals to update the Model A710 Intellis™ Software Application, used with the CT900 Clinician Tablet Programmer, to version 1.3.130 as the previous software version 1.3.80 may not reset invalid memory correctly. This issue can result in the inability to update therapy settings, cause changes to the Patient Programmer display, provide access to unapproved functions of the Patient Programmer, and/or cause loss of therapy. Medtronic had received fourteen reports of validation error followed by a system error indicating that the stimulator programming update could not be completed. This was due to a corruption within the stimulator memory which was not cleared automatically by the application. Healthcare professionals are advised to refer to the instructions appended in the letter to update the application or contact the Medtronic representative for assistance. Please refer to the letter for details.
Only abstracts of the Dear Healthcare Professional Letters (DHCPL) are provided on this website.
