A Dear Healthcare Professional Letter has been issued by Boston Scientific Asia Pacific Pte Ltd to provide an update on subsets of COGNIS® CRT-Ds and TELIGEN® ICDs that experienced an increased rate of premature battery depletion due to compromised performance of a low voltage (LV) capacitor. Healthcare professionals are advised to follow-up with their affected patients at the first opportunity within 3 months to perform software upgrade which will enhance detection of the compromised capacitor. Please refer to the letter for more details.
