Update to Synthes Transforaminal Posterior Atraumatic Lumbar Cage System (T-PAL) Technique Guide

Johnson & Johnson Pte Ltd (‘J&J’) would like to inform healthcare professionals of an update to the Technique Guide of the Transforaminal Posterior Atraumatic Lumbar Cage System (T-PAL). J&J has initiated an update to the T-PAL technique guide to clarify instrument handling of the T-PAL Applicator (PN 03.812.001 Applicator Outer Shaft, PN 03.812.004 Applicator Knob). The update to the images in the technique guide is intended to more accurately reflect the actual handling of the T-PAL Applicator, and to avoid misinterpretation of the images that are in the outdated versions. Improper handling of the T-PAL Applicator may potentially contribute to the failure of the T-PAL implantation. Healthcare professionals are advised to refer to the letter for more details.
