Johnson & Johnson would like to update healthcare professionals on the production difficulties at their specialty contract drug manufacturer's site, Ben Venue Laboratories (BVL), following a potential risk of batch contamination due to the deficiencies in sterility assurance in quality management. As there are alternative sources of VELCADE® available, as a precautionary measure, Johnson & Johnson will be switching product supply from BVL to alternate supplies.
