Synthes Singapore Pte Ltd would like to inform healthcare professionals of a voluntary recall of the selected lots of the Cortex Screw Ø 1.3/1.5 mm, self-tapping, length 8 mm sterile and non-sterile. This recall is being initiated as a Cortex Screw Ø 1.5 mm, self-tapping, length 8 mm, sterile was found in the packaging for Cortex Screw Ø 1.3 mm, self-tapping, length 8 mm, sterile. Surgical delay may be resulted if specified screw size is not available during surgery. Healthcare professionals are advised to refer to the letter for details.
