Abbott Laboratories (S) Pte Ltd would like to inform healthcare professionals of a recall of the Starclose SE Vascular Closure System due to difficulty in deploying the clips. The potential risks associated with this event include prolonged procedure times, the need to use another device or manual compression to achieve hemostasis. Healthcare professionals are advised to return all the affected products to Abbott Vascular Representative. Please refer to letter for details.
