Stryker Singapore would like to inform healthcare professionals of a recall for selected Stryker Neurovascular Target Detachable coils due to damaged sutures in the coil which may lead to increased occurrence of coil stretching. The sutures may have been damaged during manufacturing when the coils were exposed to high temperatures. Coil stretching is evident on coil deployment and the most likely effect of coil stretching is prolongation of procedure. Healthcare professionals are advised to return all affected products that are unused to Stryker Singapore. Please refer to the letter for details.
