Bayer (South East Asia) Pte Ltd would like to update healthcare professionals on a voluntary market recall of the Bayer Contour™ TS 2x25-count, 25-count & 10-count test strip vials. This recall was initiated due to inaccurate test results arising from the use of the affected test strips, which could possibly result in an error with the reading of the blood sugar level. The 50-count vials which are unaffected by this issue will be introduced as an alternative to the affected vials. Consumers who have purchased the Bayer Contour TS Glucose Meter are advised to stop using the affected Bayer Contour 2x25-count, 25-count & 10-count test strips as soon as they they obtain replacements for those strips with the unaffected Contour TS 50-count test strip vials.
