Johnson & Johnson Medical Singapore would like to inform healthcare professionals of the recall of Cordis OPTEASE® Retrievable Vena Cava Filter product due to an identified printing error whereby the arrows printed on the storage were erroneously pointed in the same direction for both the femoral and jugular orientation labels. As a precautionary measure, Cordis Corporation has initiated a voluntary recall of all unexpired distributed lots of the OPTEASE® Retrievable Vena Cava Filter. Healthcare professionals are advised to refer to the Dear Healthcare Professional Letter for more details.
Only abstracts of the Dear Healthcare Professional Letters (DHCPL) are provided on this website. Details of these letters can be found in the MOH Alert System, which is accessible via the Health Professionals Portal (HPP), a one-stop portal for all healthcare professionals in Singapore.
