Swissmed Pte Ltd would like to inform healthcare professionals of a voluntary recall of Oculentis LENTIS Foldable Intraocular Lenses (IOL) with expiry date between 2017-01 and 2020-05 following reports on possible sporadic opacification of the affected IOLs. The opacification may compromise the optical transparency of the IOL in time, potentially leading to a slow reduction in the patient's visual acuity. Healthcare professionals are advised to return the affected device to Swissmed Pte Ltd. Please refer to the letter for details.
