Voluntary recall of specific lots of Synthes MatrixMIDFACE, Synthes MatrixMANDIBLE, Synthes MatrixORTHOGNATHIC

Johnson & Johnson Pte Ltd would like to inform healthcare professionals of a voluntary recall of Synthes MatrixMIDFACE, Synthes MatrixMANDIBLE and Synthes MatrixORTHOGNATHIC due to discrepancy between the length of screw etched on the clip and the actual screw length. Healthcare professionals are advised to return all affected products to Johnson & Johnson Pte Ltd. Patients who have had procedures using the Synthes screws with clips should be followed up according to routine standard of care at the respective institutions.
