Voluntary Recall of TISSUE-GUARD Family of Products- DURA-GUARD, SUPPLE PERI-GUARD

Baxter Healthcare (Asia) Pte Ltd would like to inform healthcare professionals of a voluntary recall of the TISSUE-GUARD Family of Products: DURA-GUARD and SUPPLE PERI-GUARD. The products are packaged in a container filled with sterile, non-pyrogenic water containing 1% propylene oxide. The contents of the unopened, undamaged container are sterile; however, it has been determined that specific shipping configurations may place pressure on the package, which can lead to container damage and leakage of the contents. As a precautionary measure, Baxter is initiating a voluntary recall of certain lots of the TISSUE-GUARD Family of Products: DURA-GUARD and SUPPLE PERI-GUARD.
