Biological Agents and Toxins Requiring a Protected Place
Facilities handling First Schedule Part 2, Second Schedule biological agents, or Fifth Schedule toxins must be gazetted as a Protected Place under the Infrastructure Protection Act (opens in new tab), and comply with the Protective Security Working Group Guidelines (opens in new tab). Personnel accessing these facilities must undergo security vetting.
