We administer and enforce the Tobacco and Vaporisers Control Act (TVCA), with the objective of reducing the prevalence of smoking in Singapore.

Vaping enforcement
The Tobacco and Vaporisers Control Act (TVCA), renamed from the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements & Sale) Act from 1 May 2026, consolidates enforcement, rehabilitation, and educational frameworks for vaporiser users — including those involving specified psychoactive substances (SPS) such as etomidate — with enhanced penalties for possession, use, import, and supply of vaporisers.
