What is a complementary health product (CHP)
A CHP is a self-care health product containing ingredients with a long history of safe use and is intended for supporting or enhancing general health or alleviating symptoms of minor conditions that consumers can manage themselves. CHP includes health supplements, traditional medicines, homeopathic medicines, medicated oils, balms and plasters and topical antiseptics.
