Overview

A company that is instrumental in placing a Complementary Health Product (CHP) in the market may voluntarily notify HSA of the product supplied, or to be supplied, in Singapore.

Before submitting a product notification, you should self-assess relevant supporting information to ensure your product meets the appropriate safety, and quality and labelling standards. You should also hold the supporting information on file to demonstrate compliance where requested by HSA.

The list of notified products will be published here. HSA reserves the right, at our discretion, to refuse the notification of products with non-compliance records or are under investigation by HSA. If any declaration made in the notification submission is subsequently found to be false or misleading, HSA may remove the product from the published list of notified products.

Who can submit a notification

You can submit a product notification if you are responsible for placing the product in the local market.

Your business entity must be registered  with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority and you must have a Corppass (opens in new tab) account to submit your notification.

Update notification

If you have voluntarily notified your complementary health product with the HSA and you wish to update HSA on changes to the following information that is administrative in nature, you may submit your update via the form for Update Notification for Complementary Health Products (opens in new tab).

  • Company information

  • Contact information

  • Manufacturer

  • Importer

Other changes that are not specified above to be of administrative nature, such as the following types of changes, will require a new submission of the voluntary notification.

  • Company responsible for the notified product

  • Product name (including brand name)

  • Intended uses

  • Dosage form

  • Active ingredients

When implementing changes to your notified product, you must ensure that your notified product continues to meet the relevant safety, and quality and labelling requirements.

Post-notification cancellation

If your products are no longer supplied locally, please cancel your product notification via the form for Post-notification Cancellation for Complementary Health Products (opens in new tab).
