B.Braun Medical (B.Braun) would like to inform healthcare professionals with important safety information regarding the use of B.Braun Celsite PICC-Cel kits. Following a limited number of customer complaints and further investigations, B.Braun has identified a risk of difficulty or impossibility in inserting the catheter into the peelable sheath provided in selected models of Celsite PICC-Cel kits, manufactured before May 2014. B.Braun recommends that users verify the insertion of the catheter through the peelable sheath before starting implantation procedures.
