HSA Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Netherlands Forensic Institute, Netherlands

The Health Sciences Authority (HSA) of Singapore signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), Netherlands, on 30 October 2012. The NFI is one of the world's leading forensic laboratories and provides advanced forensic products and services to a wide range of national and international clients.

2      The MOU was signed by A/Prof John Lim, CEO of HSA, and Dr T. (Tjark) B.P.M. Tjin-A-Tsoi, CEO of NFI, in The Hague, Kingdom of the Netherlands.

3      The MOU provides a framework for collaboration in research and development, and the sharing of information, knowledge, expertise and experience relating to forensic sciences between HSA and NFI. It will also see the setting up of training and consultancy facilities in Singapore to offer and provide education and training on quality assurance, forensic disciplines, forensic governance and management.
