Impact of cycling feature on device battery longevity - InterStim® and InterStim® II devices

Medtronic International Limited would like to notify healthcare professionals on the labelling update related to the cycling feature of the InterStim® Neurostimulators (Model 3023) and InterStim® II Neurostimulators (Model 3058). Healthcare professionals are advised that current labelling and the N’Vision Clinician Programmer provide longevity estimates which may not accurately reflect the impact of cycling on device longevity under all programming scenarios. The Information For Use of the affected devices will be updated with the relevant information. Please refer to the letter for details.
