Software issue with MiniMed™ 640G Insulin Infusion Pump leading to power error

Medtronic International Ltd would like to inform healthcare professionals about a software issue for MiniMed™ 640G Insulin Infusion Pump that could prevent the internal battery of the pump from charging. Healthcare professionals are advised to ensure that patients who have received a notification letter contact the Medtronic Helpline if they experience a Power Error 25 alarm. The Helpline will assist in troubleshooting the issue. Please refer to the letter for details.
