Voluntary recall of IKERVIS EYE DROPS, EMULSION 1MG/ML (SIN15216P), lot number 1L49P due to possible decrease in efficacy

A Dear Healthcare Professional Letter has been issued by Santen Pharmaceutical Asia Pte Ltd to inform healthcare professionals of the voluntary recall of one lot of IKERVIS EYE DROPS, EMULSION 1MG/ML, Lot 1L49P due to possible decrease in product efficacy. During routine stability studies, it was found that the affected batch of lkervis did not meet the ciclosporin A (CsA) targeted concentration and presented a lower CsA concentration due to crystallisation of the CsA. Healthcare professionals are advised to stop using the affected batch and to review their patients that were on the affected batch of the eyedrops. Please refer to the letter for details.
