Voluntary Recall of Versys® Hip System Cemented Revision/Calcar Femoral Stem and Versys Heritage® Hip Prosthesis Femoral Revision Stem

Zimmer Pte Ltd would like to inform healthcare professionals of a recall involving certain lots of Versys® Hip System Cemented Revision/Calcar Femoral Stem and Versys Heritage® Hip Prosthesis Femoral Revision Stem. Zimmer Inc. has recently conducted a review of historic packaging validations for Versys® Hip System Cemented Revision/Calcar Femoral Stem and Versys Heritage® Hip Prosthesis Femoral Revision Stem and found that certain lots could not meet the validation requirements. As a precautionary measure, Zimmer Inc. has initiated a lot specific voluntary recall of Versys® Hip System Cemented Revision/Calcar Femoral Stem and Versys Heritage®Hip Prosthesis Femoral Revision Stem. Healthcare professionals are advised to refer to the letter for details.
