1. Are HSA CRMs produced according to ISO 17034?
Yes, HSA CRMs are produced in compliance with the requirements of ISO 17034.
2. Are HSA CRMs metrologically traceable and accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (CoA)?
The assigned values provided are traceable to the International System of Units (SI) through HSA. A comprehensive CoA is provided with each CRM.
3. How are the assigned values of the CRMs determined?
HSA uses highly accurate isotope dilution mass spectrometric (IDMS) methods for quantitation, whenever possible.
4. Do the assigned values come with associated measurement uncertainties?
Yes, the measurement uncertainty for each assigned value is provided in the CoA.
5. What is the validity period of the CRMs?
HSA’s CRMs are continuously monitored through testing during the validity period stated in the CoA. If the assigned values remain stable, the validity period of the CoA will be extended, and an updated certificate will be issued.
6. How should the CRMs be stored?
The required storage conditions are detailed in the CoA.
7. How will the CRMs be delivered to customers?
HSA will engage couriers to deliver the CRMs locally and overseas under conditions that ensure their continued stability. Local customers may also pick-up the CRMs from HSA. For CRMs requiring dry ice transportation, please note that dry ice replenishment is not available during transit.
